    same here but with game maker, which was 5 years ago when Game Maker 8 was still widely used and People were transitioning to Studio and all i ask was to Convert some of the Lines to Game Maker Studio and Didn't reply for like 4 years now

    Hahaha!! And I thought I was unlucky with 5 months!

    Well start learning C2 now; you'll probably come up with a prototype in 1-3 days. It's real simple.

    and I must say there is no solution for compiling using the default google play & inapp plugin from construct 2 ..........

    Well using cranberrygame plugin isn't that easy as everyone is saying ......... Finally I got it working to get the inapp purchase work but when I click on the button to purchase it throws me our of the app with the pop box to purchase .........

    And I am not getting the point as how to make it work ????

    Oh man. And I was going to purchase the Cranberry plugins today.... : \</p>

  • Take my advice: Start learning C2 now and don't attempt to hire guys yet.

    I was a dumdum, Last year I gave assets to one guy I found in Tigsource and he hasn't done anything with them for about 5 months now. No update. NOTHING.

    Also, for another game, I found a guy, met up with him and discussed the details and even gave him the assets and same thing: NO REPLY after months.

    So about a month ago, I decided to learn C2 and make the game myself and now I'm only one plugin away from publishing.

    I don't know about i3 but i5 should be good enough. i7 is more than enough.

    What kind of answer are you expecting in that thread ?

    It is half caps locks, half "solution" to an apparent problem you are seemingly having.

    As usual, if you encounter a bug issue with Construct2 consider posting a bug report for it following the report guidelines.

    In that case, possibly the IAP plugin that Construct 2 attempts to go for on its own (when exporting to Cordova, C2 is building an XML file attempting automatically to fetch specific Cordova plugins) perhaps it needs some update and so, possibly Ash needs to be noticed about it.

    Maybe a confirmation that either the plugin is indeed bugged but I've seen it been brushed off as a bug in XDKs side which I'm attempting to find the solution to. I tried a "solution" listed here:

    Which again resulted in a failed build.

    EVEN IF you find the whole mcm.plugin thing, the build will still fail.

    Guess this is why people are turning to the cadburygames plugin.

    Hello Kyatric. I noticed plenty of the users are turning to Cadburry Games' IAP plugin.

    Is C2's IAP plugin still up-to-date?

    Sorry if I have to ask but I can't test right now because I'm using an unstable connection.

  • Yes i use cranberrygame plugin and work 100%. You need to use this in intel xdk: "cordova-plugin-payment-iap". I don't know about official plugin..

    I see. Same suggestion from everyone. Guess I should buy the plugin then.

    Hi odiusfly, are you using IAPs in your apps as well? Would you happen to know if the Official IAP plugin works? If yes, do I have to fetch another plugin in Intel XDK for it to work?

    In the link I put up there, Josek is simply stating instructions on which plugins work with his own.

    The github links you can find in that page are NOT the plugin you copy paste in C2 folder but the links of the plugins you have to fetch in Intel XDK

    Official Construct IAP plugin doesn't work?

    Not to my knowledge though I'll admit I haven't tried building much with it. Do you know which plugins I have to fetch in XDK for the official IAP to work?

    My problem last week was the "cc.fovea.plugins.inapppurchase" failing to install.
