I occasionally get a notice that a game is "gaining a lot of traction in the arcade!" I'm assuming this is the part in the Notification Settings which says "Hot Game: A game in the arcade is quickly gaining popularity!"

What determines when a game reaches this milestone and becomes a notification to everyone?

(I'm guessing it's something to do with the number of plays and/or players?)

The final line of your code sets "Stuntime" to "Stun". It should set "Action" to "stun".

I tried this in your file and it worked perfectly.

(I remember this exact game from when I took Video Game Design. I assume this is the same curriculum. Never thought I'd see this game again! Deja Vu!)

In one of my upcoming games I have an HTML button which I want to fade from one color to the next. I used events and variables to do this using rgb. It was basically:

Set CSS Style "background-color" to rgb(0,0,ColorRandomizer).

However, when I tried to do this, it said it didn't accept numbers. I think it wants color names, but I can't really do that with my randomizing code. How do I use rgb numbers in the background-color CSS style for HTML buttons?

If you've played Generic Upgrading Tree before (https://www.construct.net/en/free-online-games/generic-upgrading-tree-76910/play),you’ve probably noticed that, although it is fun, there are some major bugs in later game. However, I have not updated this game in a very, very long time, mostly because I’ve been away from Construct 3 for a while. There is good news though! Although I have decided to drop this current game based on problems in the code that don’t really allow for further advancements, I am now working on “Generic Upgrading Tree: UPGRADED”.

This will not be a sequel, but an upgraded version of the current game with better ramping, more exciting progression, more features, and better code that allows for more updates and longer gameplay. There may even be a way to save your progress across games!

How do I add the plugin? I've tried the .NET scripts from the leaderboard tutorial but none of them worked.

I just published a game, https://www.construct.net/en/free-online-games/generic-upgrading-tree-76910/play. However, when I go to my public profile, I can't find it. This is my 7th published game so far, however, my public profile only says I have 6 published. After publishing it, I tried finding it in my public profile, but it wasn't there. I republished it and posted a forum post about it so I'd have a link to it. It also isn't in the "newest games" section. It's almost like my game doesn't exist! What's going on???

I'm trying to save players' progress and also allow other players to be able to see this. I posted on this topic before and was suggested to use google sheets. However, everything I try to find on this topic is unhelpful, either because I don't understand it or it isn't what I'm looking for. Is there a way to save multiple sheets (each player's info is an array and there are multiple players)?

I have an idea for a game where players create levels and then have the option to post them for others to play. However, since I have ZERO experience in multiplayer, I have zero idea how to do this.

Any tips for how to make this work? I'm not even sure it needs to be multiplayer... maybe it does?
