  Most of the new features are subscriber-only so you can't try them out in the public beta right now (although you will be able to during the Newgrounds Gamejam). Take a look through the blog posts, there is actually a lot new in C3, it's just not all accessible right now.

  You can also just click the project item in the project bar.

  I don't want to confuse layout properties and project properties, because they are different: a project has multiple layouts but only one set of project properties. Displaying them together might look like you can set things like a viewport per layout when that's not the case.

  You can already do this. Just right click and "Apply to whole animation" or "all animations". Or in the frames bar use "Copy previous frame poly".

  Just set gravity to 0. Then apply a force to all Physics objects at whatever angle you want.

  Gravity is just a continually applied acceleration downwards, so you can recreate the same effect at any angle with events.

  Was this a feature in C2 that is missing in C3? Or is it just a feature request?

  Also are you using the Platform behavior or Physics behavior? Both support different gravity angles.

  On an early version of the build system, Iain did manage to run a build on an Android device, and install and run the APK that came back. (You have to enable unknown sources on the phone.) So yes, you should be able to build your game as an APK and run it as an APK, all from an Android device.

  Well, like I said, I made the software (hopefully that counts me as an expert user?) and I still think it's handy to have them there. For example when you focus the Volume parameter of a Play Sound action... is it in dB or a ratio? Positive or negative? Honestly, sometimes I even coded it and can't remember what I did. The tip clears it up: it's dB attenuation, so ought to be negative, or 0 for full volume. That kind of thing is always useful IMO, whoever you are.

  We are actually planning a full web-based editor to crowdsource translations, manage changes between releases, and so on. It won't be ready for a while, but that's what we want to do for this.

  I could add a setting to hide the empty event sheet info.

  Other than that, what's wrong with the tips elsewhere? Even I find them useful as reminders on what to fill for properties, parameters etc. There's thousands of them across the editor, and a small snippet of text that doesn't use up much room and saves you having to remember anything seems like a good feature.

  The editor fully supports translation, but we are extremely busy with a range of complex aspects of the launch. We're hoping to address it in the near future.

  'Add to homescreen' should already work on Android. The meta tags have been superseded by the Web App Manifest which C3 uses.

  I didn't realise Chrome didn't have an 'Add to desktop' option on Mac - I filed a bug for it here: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=706439

  Yeah, the "download" attribute just lets you set the default filename, not the path it saves to. Otherwise web pages could fill up random locations on disk.
