  We're still not ready to support other browsers just yet, but we're keen to. The key points for other browsers are full CSS grid support, the dialog element and CSS containment.

  The standalone version is planned and we aim to release it in future, but I can't give an ETA right now. The browser version is fully featured, though - it can do virtually everything the standalone version would.

  Construct 3 does work offline, but make sure you wait until you see the notification telling you it's finished downloading and ready to work offline. If you close C3 before then, it won't work properly offline.

  Remote Preview won't work until Safari 11 is released (this autumn) which adds WebRTC support.

  Chrome on iOS is just a skin for Safari because Apple ban other browser engines, so it won't make anything work that doesn't work in Safari.

  It appears in the lower-left, like other notifications (e.g. undo/redo notifications). Currently accounts aren't supported offline, we're still working on that.

  Note you need to open C3 and wait for a notification to appear in the corner saying C3 is ready to use offline. If you close it before then, it hasn't finished downloading everything it needs so won't work offline.

  If the CPU is only 50-60, it's got plenty of headroom, so it actually suggests the bottleneck is the GPU hardware. So you should probably focus on simplifying the rendering of the game.

  It depends on the caching HTTP headers the server sets. It works the same as reloading a web page with an image on it; it depends entirely on what the server has set it to do.

  We do plan to allow C2 users to use Scirra's build service, but we are very busy at the moment with a wide range of essential work happening on Construct 3. I can't guarantee we will have it ready by the end of June, but hopefully not long after that. In the mean time there is, as ever, PhoneGap Build as an alternative.

  No, the formats are completely different and there is a lot of code to handle C2 import to C3. The other way round is actually impossible if you use any features specific to C3, such as the new "create object by name" action, etc.

  As of r38.2, you can now use custom themes in Construct 3! Our designer Paulo has been working on a dark theme for the Construct 3 editor. Here's a preview of what it looks like.

  You can now download this theme and try it out for yourself! Click the link to download a .c3addon for the dark theme:

  Simply install this like any other addon in the Addon Manager, and restart C3. Then go to Settings and you should see the Dark theme listed under 'Themes'. Select the theme, close settings, and restart C3 again, and you should be using the new dark theme.

  Note this is a beta of the dark theme - themes can be tricky to get exactly right and sometimes can introduce bugs or quirks. So please let us know if you find anything amiss and we'll work to make sure everything works well with the new theme!
