  The User Media plugin (which does webcam input) will eventually support audio input too. However, it's still being specified by the W3C, and no browsers support a way to get audio input yet, so it will have to come later.

  Out of curiosity, what are you hoping to use it for? Just want to make sure it gets implemented in a way which lets everyone do what they want.

  We get a lot of forum spammers so I'm not surprised they're having a go at IRC. This is why there need to be operators online who can ban these guys!

  You can rename recovered_Xylon.capx to .zip again and open it in Windows Explorer (at least here). However many of the files seem to have gone missing. The file is 10mb smaller and most of the layout and project XML has disappeared. It seems to be permanently unrecoverable, except you may be recover some sounds and artwork from the recovered zip.

  Now's probably a good time to use Construct 2's preferences to set up automatic backup. You could have had a day old backup to fall back to...

  Can you remember what happened when it became corrupt? Did Construct 2 crash while you were doing something, your computer unexpectedly power off, etc?

  Have you tried the Beginner's Guide tutorial and How to make a Platform game tutorial? They may not be the same kind of game as you're making, but going through both will teach you a great deal about Construct 2 and help you solve problems in other games.

  It's not really possible. Modern browsers like Firefox and Chrome effectively pause hidden tabs anyway, or reduce them to one frame per second (which is such a low framerate the runtime will switch itself in to paused mode anyway). This is important to ensure hidden tabs are not draining CPU or wasting battery life on mobile devices. Also many users desire automatic pausing because they don't want the game to carry on while they can't see it.

  Your best bet to integrate third party services is the Javascript Plugin SDK. I'm afraid there are too many third party services for us to be officially involved in integrating all of them.

  HTML5test.com doesn't test performance at all, as far as I know. So a device could score higher but be too slow to use.

  Does anyone have a PS Vita? Have they tried to test performance? This is my standard performance test now since it gives a pretty representative score: http://www.scirra.com/labs/sbperf/
