I think Classic had a condition for this. Added to todo list.
Oops - thanks, fixed for next build.
Ah, I think I found the problem - removing objects from families would sometimes leave references in, e.g. MyObject.FamilyInstanceVar, even though the object no longer belongs to the family. Should be fixed in the next build.
Read the Physics Basics tutorial - it describes how Physics does not interact with other behaviors.
Edit: closing as not a bug.
.capx files are just .zip files of a folder project so you can try renaming it to .zip then start tweaking the project XML until it works. Failing that email it to be and I can try to fix it.
I'll investigate this soon, but if you can reproduce it that would be great.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
I would think this is not a bug, but just the fact Physics doesn't interact well with other behaviors, as described in the Physics Basics tutorial. For example, you should definitely make the board spin by setting the Physics angular velocity. Using the Rotate behavior will cause the Physics behavior to keep "teleporting" the object round to keep up with the other behavior, which could cause weird things to happen. Does it work better if you do it that way?
Probably a graphics card driver bug if it works on another computer. Have you tried updating them?
The name of the font family is "Bitline15", not "Bitline15.woff".
It sounds like what you have done is fine. The less objects you use and the less points in the collision polygon, the better performance will be, but that's about it.
The preview server runs on localhost:50000, which counts as a different origin to localhost:82, so the browser will block the request due to the same-origin policy. See the section on cross-domain requests in the AJAX documentation.
Also, setting up a separate PHP server to serve a simple JSON file is unnecessary. You can do it by using project files.
Oh, just realised: the preview server runs on localhost:50000, which counts as a different origin to localhost:80, so the browser will block the request due to the same-origin policy. See the section on cross-domain requests in the AJAX documentation.
Can you share your .capx with the output of mob_load.php just cut and pasted in to the 'load JSON' action?
Apparently IE10 has multitouch, and the performance should be OK (although our test was pretty slow on Windows Phone 7, and not really usable). However it's not even out yet. So they're kinda late when the iPhone has been out with good multitouch for 5 years!
We have plans to translate the site ans software in to different languages. However I'm afraid being a 2-man company, the limitation is time and resources. Hopefully we'll get there eventually!
If Construct 2 crashes, can you write up the steps to reproduce it and post it to the bugs forum? Thanks!
