  Some browsers automatically pause the game when it's not in focus, so you can't reliably keep a game running in the background anyway. This is especially important on mobile where users get very annoyed with any apps which continue to drain battery even when in the background. So I don't think this can be changed.

  You can use the wallclocktime system expression to calculate how long the game was in the background for, but that's about it.

  You can copy and paste events between projects, but the exact same objects with the same names referenced by all events copied must exist in both projects.

  Not quite - check the manual entry for Touch. If you pass a number to the Touch.X or Touch.Y expressions, it's used as the layer number to get the co-ordinates for.

  Afrit - we no longer officially support XP SP2. You should *definitely* upgrade to XP SP3 which we do support. Out of curiosity, why haven't you installed it already? It was released years ago and is a free upgrade.

  atioglxx.dll is your graphics driver. Updating it may help, but I would install SP3 first then update the driver, since the latest driver may also require SP3.

  You will not need to use a power-of-two texture after r100 is released. The power-of-two texture limitation only applies to tiled background, and the bug was Sprite accidentally set the texture to be tiled.

  This has already been reported, and is a limitation accidentally introduced in r99. It's removed again in r100.

  maxp010 - actually I said 'On object touched' and 'Is touching object' do support multitouch, they always have! The problem in this thread was that the Android 2.x browser itself does not support multitouch. It should be working fine on Android 4+ and iOS though.

  On export C2 also passes <install path>\exporters\html5\c2-externs.js to Closure Compiler as a list of externs to not be renamed (see Closure Compiler's documentation on this). A few FB functions are listed there to guarantee they are not mangled by Closure Compiler.

  Third party plugins can't edit this file, so just use the alternative syntax instead: rather than using FB.foo.bar(), use window["FB"]["foo"]["bar"](). This has the same result. A few official plugins take advantage of the c2-externs.js list simply for readability (so they can be written the first way and still not be renamed).

  leesaenz - this is an old thread from January and it was resolved as an issue to do with IE documents mode rather than missing features. Please be wary about bumping old threads.

  Most javascript libraries (e.g. jQuery) assume they are being used in a browser. Construct 2's edittime script is a pure V8 context with no browser, which means very very few Javascript libraries will work in it. Which library are you considering?

  Is the bullet behavior a family behavior inherited by both objects? If not C2 considers them unrelated and therefore does not try to re-select it. It could easily be a completely different behavior type as well (e.g. 8 direction).
