  • I think it should give you the option to choose which image point to use when pinning an object to another. For example sprite A needs to be pinned to sprite B, when you call the action it should ask you which image point on sprite B you want sprite A to be pinned to.

  • didn't know that was available, I'm gonna check it out and if anything I'll post any findings

  • You could also do this, i think is easier and quicker. You only need one sprite, and you can add many ANIMATIONS to that one sprite. All the animations cam be of the different sprites you want to invoke. Now just just to create them randomly use the magic word CHOOSE. It would go something like this:

System: Every X seconds || Sprite: Set animation CHOOSE( animation1, animation2,...animationX)

  • tgeorgemihai point taken, and true it will be very useful on the go, I guess it all depends on the user, it might be a great idea as I think it is, and for others, not so useful.

  • you are exactly right, it might not be the ideal enviroment, but sure does help, like replying to an email on ur phone, limited screen and not all the things you might be able to do on your pc, but still gives you that edge of being able to respond to it quickly and on the go. Same principle with now C3.

And remember people, a smartphone is just as smart as the person using it. Keep that in mind 😉

  • Sorry to say it, but this is a stupid idea. It would be a waste of time and resources.

Like other people said, you can get a cheap Windows tablet, use Team Viewer or have C2 on a stick and continue your work on any PC.

Also I seriously doubt you can do anything productive on a <5" screen.

Am so glad that stupid idea and waste of resources are becoming a reality

  • Try Construct 3

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • > Waltuo yes I know it would be damn cool if C3 would come also in that way.

    > I own the surface pro 3, and the surface book, but none of them fit in my pocket. I meant it as in an app version, a mobile as in phone, you know, pocket. But your small tablet comment is not a bad idea

I just couldn't imagine trying to use the events system on my cell phone. That would be annoying for me... just saying.

    And so its is happening

  • Have you tried using families, to condensate several objects or sprites that have similar attributes? Or maybe like you said the issue might be the many instances or sprites you have running at the same time. Maybe you need to lower the size of them? There is a blog, or tutorial called "dont waste your memory" or something like that, talks about having images too big, or heavy. And how to counter some problems they might give, you may wanna give it a read

  • On those barrels and kegs you are placing, do they HAVE to be at those places? or just setting them randomly? in such case instead of just placing them when you are creating the game, why don't you code it to have them created at random?? that way that many instances wont be on the game from the beginning, but instead triggered to appear at certain times when the character is near an X object or place. You don't have to place 1000 barrels on the layout, just have one and then code a random creation every X time or place accordingly to the character, or whatever is best for your game, would save memory I believe that way
