Hi there, happy to see this available. I am a web designer that not too long ago was asking around to see if I could get a working game framework that I could possibly try to design into. This is very cool to have Scirra to try out and see what is possible

  • Hi, new here. from brasil.

  • Hello World!

I am the owner (and lead Art Guy) of a new game studio called Elemental Entertainment LLC. *We're on Facebook and twitter as E2 Game Studios because "Elemental Entertainment LLC" was too long.

As the Art Guy my realm is generally the worlds of Autodesk (3ds Max) and Adobe (photoshop)but I am finding it much more useful to be able to go into the Game Engine and apply my art (then test) to see what changes need to be made to the source images or assets then to wait for the programmers to put out a build just to see if the layers need some kind of adjustment or if a sprite should be made with a larger alpha background. The point is I am pretty good with the Art programs but c2 still confuses me and as a c2-noob with very little programming knowledge these event sheets are kicking me hard so I thought I would set up a profile here and learn what I can from the community.

Those kind souls who respond to my posts in a substantive way and help me get these games from the game design documents into a playable format will get their usernames into the "C2 Community Special Thanks" section of the credits of these games.

    See you in the Forums

    Respectfully,

    Elemental Entertainment LLC

  • I'm Tom and I plan to make a game in Construct 2 with the help of my brother. It looks like a pretty powerful tool so far!

  • welcome t4!

  • I figure now that I'm actually getting off my duff and learning to use Construct, I might as well get to know my neighbors.

My name's Chad, and I'm a grizzled old veteran of the RPGMaker 2000 days. Well, maybe not that old. With Construct 2, I figure I could have a little fun and make something everyone else could enjoy at the same time.

As most of you have guessed, I too am working on a project of my own -- a retro style 2D action-adventure comedy called Super Awesome!

... the title might be an over exaggeration.

  • i am sumit from indian institute of technology, kharagpur, india.happy to join you.

  • super awesom!

  • Hello. My name is Matthew Lyles Hornbostel, I'm an artist who focuses primarily on video productions, visual effects, and video game development.

I am not all that good at programming but tools like Construct 2, Game Maker: Studio, and Gamesalad are allowing me to accomplish things I wouldn't ordinarily be able to do.

I have an experimental virtual-tour thing in Flash called "Panoramic Worlds" (www.panoramicworlds.com) and I'm currently porting it to HTML5 using Construct 2 and the awesome Lens effect, among other parts of the Construct 2 toolset.

  • My name is Joe.

Instead of being born with a brain I was born with a pumpkin, which has given me unfathomable powers.

    That is all. Good day.
