  • Hi everyone,

just thought I'd say a little hello.. new to construct and to making games..

I'm creating characters at the moment and hope one day to combine this into a game.

  • Hi all! I am new user of Construct 2, and I want to make good and fun games.

  • Hello,

Nice to be here and looking forward to share my experiences with Scirra community.

I love Construct 2 and I have seen very nice things "spawning" from it.

I have followed some topics in the forum and I must say the people here are nice and love to share and this is awesome.

    Good work guys !

  • Hello, everybody!

Glad to see many gamers and game designers here building some awesome games, and providing awesome tutorials and studying stuff for people like us. One shares knowledge with another, and then we all grow together, that's just awesome!

I'm a man from Brazil, and I'm here to learn and share my experiences with all of you. Hope we keep enjoying this for a long time!

    Nice to meet you, see ya around! <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hello everybody.

I am Rizal Asrul Pambudi from Indonesia. Glad to see many gamers and game designers.

Nice to see you, see you around! ;)

  • Hey everyone!

Just introducing myself. My name is Steve (Tekniko) I've been making my own games for about 6 years now. Unfortunately, none of them have ever been completed. Mostly because I focus on these big MMORPG projects which just become too overwhelming. Usually I will blame the engine, switch to a new one and then start it all over again. I've used Hero Engine, Game Maker, RPG Maker, Genesis2D, etc etc. Nothing has been easier to learn than Construct 2; so I am here to stay!

Over the past few months I have accepted that MMOs are way too ambitious for one person. Since then, I have started working on more simpler games. Pacman, Arkanoid, Word Search etc. From these I have learned a great deal and I really feel these small games have helped me understand game making as a whole and how I can create something fun, without having to have a billion things to do like in an MMO.

Any who, you can probably find me hanging out in the "How Do I..." section of the forums, a lot, haha.

    Cheers to making great games!

  • Hello my friends. My name is Champaklal and I am 65 years young. I like to learn and do something. I hope you young one will help me. Thank you allhttp://www.scirra.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif

  • Hey mates!

I'm a 26 yr old IT Security Guru with a passion for tech and games. Looking to use Construct 2 to finally make something worth sharing, and really enjoying the ease of use - the many features - and the helpful community.

    Have a fantastic day!

  • Hi Guys,

My name is Alisa - and yes, I'm a chick who makes games!

The first game system I owned was PONG! and then the Atari 2600 (which I still have). Adventure games are probably my favorite genre.

I've worked in the game industry for 20 years, starting out as an animator making sprites for Rocko's Modern Life for the SNES. Since then I have made a bunch of games for a bunch of companies (feel free to check out my website at alisakober.com. But the game industry is hurting like every other industry in today's economy. I got laid off from Day 1 Studios a few years back so I mostly do contract gigs now. So when I don't have a gig, I have been wanting to try to make my own games on the side.

I can design and do art/animation, but I'm no programmer. Seems like Constuct 2 will be perfect for me to start learning how to build games myself.

I looked at Game Maker, Game Salad, and other tools but Construct 2 is the clear winner in my book. Its not only a great tool but the documentation, the tutorials, 3rd party plugins, and the community are second to none. And you support Spriter! I can't wait for that to get further along.

Anyway, glad to be here and I look forward to learning.

  • Hello! I have taken a hobby in game making and i believe this is the right place to start. I am already in the process of making a platformer game and I have already received some help on the forums after 15 minutes :)

This is a great program and I hope to make some good game with it!

  • <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hi Construct community, what's up?

My name's Sasha, I'm a student and I've recently purchased Construct 2. I'm an avid gamer, currently PC only since I left my consoles behind. I did my high school studies in New Zealand before moving back to Vancouver where I grew up. I'm living and working here now.

Right now I'm working on my first game, it's still early days but I'm working on a pretty simple platformer just to get my toes in the water. I'll be making a progress thread for it once I have a little more to show, and would love feedback once it's up.

I'm a League of Legends player with three years under my belt, lemme know if you're keen for a game or two, I'm always looking for new friends to kick butt with. Aside from League, I'm currently in love with Tribes: Ascend, Path of Exile and Team Fortress 2 (still).

My hopes are to create a few decent games to give myself a platform to meet like-minded creators and who I can collaborate with. After I finish my studies my dream job would be to find work at Riot, working as a Creative Designer for either Champion Design or Lore.

    So yeah, that's me. <img src="smileys/smiley42.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
