    I think sooner or later I will need some of your plugins ...

    But how construct plugins work? Can I still simply use the build in export features and build a signed / unsigned apk inside construct3?

    Or do I have to use tools like Phone Gap or Intel XDK as soon as a plugin is used?

    You can export as unsigned APK , debug APK & signed APK ,and you can also export as xcode for itunes. C3 handles the export for you, super easy to use!

    I have a game on google play & itunes with the Construct Master collection addons inside, some of them atleast, i just exported as signed apk, and for iphone, xcode.

    Hello. That depends, if you are using the Mobile Master Collection, which are plugins for Cordova Native features, there are a few advanced plugins that require additional parameters where you need to edit the configuration, which is documented. But you can re-upload the .zip to the Construct 3 Build Service. Or if you love Phonegap, like me, you can upload the .zip to Phonegap instead of the C3 Build Service.

    An exception is the Mobile Facebook, where it has features not currently compatible with the C3 Build Service.

    Fortunately, Nepeo from the Construct Team already made improvements and according to him, he will document it soon for the public SDK. When it releases, you can then choose to have the .zip edited on the C3 Editor directly.

    But most addons from the Mobile Master Collection, which aren't that advanced, can be built directly on the Construct 3 Build Service without editing.

    If you are using the other Sub-Collections from the Construct Master Collection, like the PlayFab Master Collection, Game Master Collection, etc.. Then, no further build configurations are required for all of the addons, since they aren't built dependent on Cordova.

    The Construct Master Collection :: Release 5.6 has been released.

    The Mobile Build Improvements update.

    1. Mobile Facebook : Docs weren't properly updated to Release 4.3 even up to Release 5.5. This is fixed on this release, Release 5.6.
    2. Mobile Facebook : Documented method to support c3Runtime.
    3. Mobile Facebook : Improved the Priority Documentation.
    4. Mobile Master Collection: There is a new documentation note for Construct 2 Mobile Builds. This is to provide guidance on how to upgrade the Cordova CLI on their Construct 2 projects to the newer or latest version, like Construct 3's or even further.

  • Hi chadorireborn, I am working in a Construct 2 project and found that not a single default plugin for Google Play works (achievements, leaderboards, IAP, Ads...) This is a shame but Scirra seems to not care. Construct 3 is not a good option for us since the game behaves differently, so we are dependent on third party plugins. We are using Cocoon Google play and IAP plugins and they are working well, but the ads are not working due a Cordova library level conflict. I would like to know if I could use your ads plugin together with the Cocoon plugins without having this conflict problem.

  • Rodrigo Bezzi I can't really tell without trying. Although, the Mobile Master Ads do have an option to change the Google Play Services version, which is the solution to the common conflict experienced by old Cordova plugins which aren't updated, like the Cocoon plugins. I assume that is the conflict you are talking about. Well, I think that is the case, since I noticed that vulnerability when I was still using Cocoon plugins.

    As a matter of fact, all the Cordova plugins in the Mobile Master Collection under the Construct Master Collection all have safety features to avoid the common Google Play Services version conflict. I made that feature with documentation after the breakout of that conflict where it was announced by PhoneGap themselves.

    At first it was an addon to add to the project to solve the conflict. But eventually, I've updated all the plugins to prevent the conflict in the first place, designed individually for each addon. And new addons were automatically added with conflict prevention. Including the Mobile Ads Collection.

    But still, only testing it will confirm.

    I did provide a small package of the addons, with only the 14 monetization addons included, for a cheaper price. This is to provide support for startups who can't afford the full collection. You can use this package for your testing.

    1. The bug issues will be reviewed soon. And if it's a bug, I will fix it soon. If it's not, I'll show the method to configure, to fix your projects.

    Some issues are already investigated and ready for the next milestone.

    2. The Cordova plugins a.k.a the Mobile Master Collection that requires manual build configurations will be automated soon through the Construct 3 editor : plugin properties. This update will be released soon too with the next milestone.

    3. Yeah, the PlayFab Master Collection is a replacement and upgrade for the Firebase Master Collection that solved the problems we had and added more features. 🙂

    For mobile, this is very advantageous, you can achieve Native Mobile Authentication, Account & Data Syncs using the Mobile Master Collection plugins like the Mobile Info, Mobile Facebook and Mobile Google Plus integrated with the PlayFab Master Collection.

    4. The Firebase Master Collection can't be used for Mobile anymore because InAppBrowser Authentications are already long depreciated. Mobile Native Authentication is the recommended approach via PlayFab Master Collection + Mobile Master Collection integration.

    If you still do, you might get warned by Google Play or the App Store.

    5. The Mobile Facebook's issue with the C3 Build Service and C3Runtime is to be re-investigated because of lots of conflicting factors.

    1. C3 Build Service: I will make a C3 Bug Report if the build failure still persists. Although, PhoneGap, other Cordova Build Services or plain Cordova should work very fine.
    2. The C3Runtime is conflicting with the Facebook SDK, which makes it only work on few Facebook SDK versions, which are now unfortunately depreciated. I will ask the Construct Team on how to deal with this, sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience on this one. But a reminder, 'C2Runtime' works fine and have no conflicts.

    6. I am currently busy with IRL work but I plan to release the next milestone before Monday and work on finishing it tomorrow but if I can't finish it by then, I'll still make sure to release it by the next following few days.

    Hi. The Construct Master Collection contains all the Enterprise addons I have released. And no, you can't support/buy them separately as it would be hard to manage and update on my end. I always update, upgrade (add) and fix addons, and containing all the updates on a single package is a huge time saver.

    The collection is already discounted because it's in a bundle, so rest assured it is cheaper than sold separately.

    Keep in mind that you have a big discount if you purchase through Discord and still receive an Itch.io redeem code. The Discord payment is the recommended main store with a cheaper price.
