Pretty clear the doubt. I set a text to an Array value, and I need to strikethrough it. How would I, please?? I was pretty shure I would find the answer here in the forums, but I didn't.
Thanks in advance.
I have tested with TextBox :
Set CSS style :
Property name : "text-decoration"
Value : "line-through"
And it works.
Maybe it will work with elements which you can set CSS style.
You can check this site fore more options :
Maverick1912 , thanks. I don't even have the TextBox plugin. What's wrong with me? And I can't even find it on the Store. Please help?? Where can I get it?
Sorry my bad, the Text Input :P
Oh yeah, it works with the TextInput. I would prefer to do it using the simple Text though. If someone know how to, please shoot me the trick. Thanks.
I think it is impossible now, you can see the answer here from Ashley :
Maverick1912 thank you.
If you are using the C3 runtime, the easiest option is to use bbcode:
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
MikaelS thank you, this was very useful. But..
The doubt now is how to use the BBcode outside of strings.
Like: I set the text to: "$" & Array.At(0, 0, 0)
But the BBcode just works inside of strings as I am noticing. How can I strike through this entire text, including the array value?
Look at my noob attempt lol:
Here is a small example with a layout consisting only of a Text, a Button and an Array:
And of course, BBCodes will only work if you use the Construct 3 runtime for your project. You also have to remember to check the "Enable BBCode" checkbox of the Text - this is very easy to forget!
Edit: of course, you could also store the text including the BBCode inside the array. However, from your example I got the impression that this wasn't what you wanted to do.
MikaelS , that really helped, thank you very much :)
