Construct 3 any news?

Hello Ashley,

In Construct 3, will there be a system to build behaviors that can be scripted with a system of events and actions?

This will allow to build my own behaviors than i will be able add to sprites or other objects.

Have you planned this kind of features ?

Object oriented programming would be nice to have. I think Ashley mentioned using the event sheet to create plugins

Scirra could show perfectly things without revealing anything that is secret

For example the new Construct 3 logo maybe

I don't think pm-ing screenshots would go well - those will leak in the matter of seconds after being sent out.

On the 3d thing - construct2 can already do 3d via plugins for babylon or three.js - however the editor is not suited for 3d.

Ashley stated that in c3 - the editor will be hackable via plugins - so we might see 3d authoring in the editor as well - if the will of the community is strong

The good news might be that since it takes so long, i doubt that it is only mac/linux port of c2, and I recon it is going to be something we are not expecting HNY

hahahaha, i was just thinking at one thing... what if... C3 will be ported for Mac/Linux but by mistake Windows will be dropped?:))))) hahahah

Read the latest blog post guys! Ashley talks about the C3 progress there.

Zonacas not sure why you people are expecting C3 to be made? even though scirra team said specifically is something they do cause they want to... i never seen a indiegogo campaign or kickstarter for C3 so we can call it vaporware .... (plus vaporware is more for techwearables(ie. magic bracelets that will make you coffee and transform into a lover when you need it) and not software.)

have you given scirra money for C3 development so far? no... you bought C2... stop demanding something that is out of your power... lets just wait and see

the only issue is that the hype the C3 news bringed was to high, and the community just exploded with expectations, which is ok... but at this point is all turning in just extreme exaggerations...

I suppose there are many people who want to work in linux or mac and are waiting anxiously to Construct 3

And we also want to know what new things and improvements will bring Construct 3.

example: the GMS2 AutoTiling, is fantastic, Scirra should copy that

It is simply normal to want to have significant improvements that make things easier
