  • procrastinator Thanks! Been plugging away (despite also working on Go!Go!Maddi! over the summer). Release date is roughly March/April of 2014. I wanted to be done in October of this year but life just has a funny way of saying no.

    Nixel So I've added in a few more moves since yesterday! We now have the addition of:

    1) Double tap direction and attack: Decapitation Dash! Punches off heads etc.

    2) Down and attack while holding arm: Grand Slam Home Run! Hit zombies into air possibly causing eXPloDe!

    3) Grab and Down: Devastating Testicle Implosion! A ball kick that causes total body break down. ***EDIT*** You will see balls fly...

    Also added far more exploding of corpses. Hitting them with an arm when hit points are low causes guts explode...

    Hope I'm making this far more "wet" than dry :D

  • procrastinator Thanks! Yeah... I was leaving the dark humor of the comic out completely. Taking itself too seriously. Now it has all the moves. But boss 1 looked like a sissy so he's been completely redrawn (except the hands)...mostly re-coded too!

    On that note, the demo is done. Releasing on Friday with Webpage and (hopefully) the kickstarter!

    In the meantime, I've been practicing my NES tracker music in my very limited spare time! Here's a little Castlevania cover that gets me in the mood to do much more stuff :D

    Nervous and excited at the same time about Friday... mostly excited :D

    Nice track mate. Damn.. you really are an all rounder eh! When my coding head is on, my art head isn't and vice versa.. and I won't even go into my music making skills.... ;p

  • This might sound like a weird question but did you make it in Construct 2?

    EDIT: I see according to the facebook that it was made in Construct 2. The reason I was asking is why have you asked for so much to remake it in Unity. Is C2 not capable enough for exporting to mobile? : S

    Sure that's a fine question to ask <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle"> we are currently making the game in Construct 2, but are looking into a Unity port in order to get onto mobile console devices like the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Mobile.

    If we reach our stretch goals we're also hoping to port the game onto the indie game markets of other consoles too (

    Still, that's a long ways away but we'll be keeping you up to date as we develop Insanity's Blade! <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle">
