    Tooof - The Mighty Dragon

  • Dane Good game! It's really like a co-ordination game, where you have to run backwards away from the mobs while you shoot and reload.

    Nochek The movement is really hard, and you should have a timer bar for when the attack is going to shoot out, right now you have to estimate. You could also make it Space to charge and release to shoot it, would make it a much more fun game in my opinion.

    k, i'v been messing with the platform behaviour, pixelated spriting and trying to do a decent wall jump for a while now... this is what i came with xD

    Basic platformer

    what do you think? i'm new to C2 tho... lol

    EDIT: updated the game with coins, enemies, some placeholder sound effects, etc, etc...

  • Lobo93 It's good! Love the artstyle.

    I wall jumped off the stairs though, I didn't want to, maybe you should only be able to do it on taller walls or something.

    and, true... atm, the char walljumps from any solid object that s not a slope, as long as he's not on floor. i'll make another object to use as stairs, so the block can be exclusively for walls ;D

  • hey thanks for that, i've done some update to the beta and made it a little better but still i'm a little stuck, i will include the newer one here but not much has changed :)   please leave more great feedback.

    the development of my game is going slow... but im happy with it <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle">

    I added spikes, a "new game" & "continue" menu, falling platforms, a few more placeholder sound FX, and a cannon to throw you into the next stage! <img src="smileys/smiley14.gif" border="0" align="middle">

    EDIT: Some of my friends said they couldn't "click the new game button"...

    well, i's not a button, so i added a sine behavior and a small arrow to make it look like more of a sign than a button <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle">

  • Lobo93 The movement is really hard. Too much sliding. I can't even get past the first two falling tiles without dying like 4-5 times xD
