Debug improvements are done for now. What's next? Inventory improvements! Lots of stuff, exciting stuff.

This part of v1.2's updates and code changes will bring: a second inventory page, a spoil bag (a storage for misc loot, likely quest/crafting applications) and equipable equipment (no more static equipment!)

This and combat improvements are the last big two improvements for v1.2, then there's just weather/day systems and tweaking before release

Also, of course, for both, I'll take a closer look at the respective eventsheets (inventory and AI) and see any improvements I can make towards general code cleanliness

Did a quick passover check just this morning. The only part of the enemy AI that isn't converted to the family system is the Eyegore AI. I'll be working on it this morning. The Eyegore AI still uses the old state based AI, which uses states determine actions, with states triggered from different stimuli or events, such as states like "Movement", "Attacking", "Idle", "Alerted", etc.

I've reached the very end of combat overhaul, with a new damage calculation-formula, enemy metadata-json, damage number popups, overhauled item-drop calculation/stat and status effects implemented but the very last thing...I need some feedback on the collisions, damage, knockback and general gamefeel of the combat so I can tweak it to be a fair bit smoother and tighter.

It's been a while since this has had any progress. My depression took a severe beating during early August and it became so bad I became a recluse for a full month.

Anyhow, I buckled down to get some major legwork done and this includes:

*Proper enemy stats metadata implemented

*New damage calculation system that uses player DEF/ATK and enemy DEF/ATK

*Overhauled item drop calculation + luck stat

*Enemies now have health meters visible

*Bow improvements (holding the use-item key charges the bow, player can now move using a bow, charge corresponds to damage so longer charge=more damage and added secondary arrows (fire) as a test)

*Combat gamefeel tweaks and improvements, mainly: player now stops if they hit solid objects during receiving knockback, increased swing speed, added an 8x8 box to the end of player line of sight to to facilitate easier hit-detection and made enemies slower

New pre-release coming up in a couple of days or sooner. I was going to have the next pre-release be the full final build weeks to release but have made a decision to split them up between the last feature pushes and all the incoming tweaks/fixes for commercial release.

The pre-release might be delayed further, as I'd also like to cram in a lighting engine overhaul and a dungeon rendering overhaul.

Said pre-release will be v1.2 and will have:

*Inventory overhaul, including multiple pages, equipable items, etc

*Crafting, includes simple one-item recipes but also complex ones with multiple different ingredients

*Combat improvements and tweaks, on a major scale

*Debug mode improvements/edit mode

*Environmental features (weather, fire spreading, temperature system, etc)

*Day/night cycle

Development is starting back up! Over the past 2-3 days, I've been pushing out tileset work for the gamekit and I'm proud to show off the gamekit's new interior tileset!
