There are lots of prizes to be won in this one, there's never been a better chance to win!

Good luck to everyone that enters, and we look forward to seeing what you all come up with <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle">

  • Awesome competition Awesome Prizes <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> I will probably enter <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • good luck to everyone that enters. i need motivation to enter. would love to win a W8 device!

  • I'll probably skip this, not really into the prize besides the business license :) But I hope some good games come out of this!

  • I'm hoping that if I port my game Fate Falcon to Windows 8 it will work out for the team. It said that you can do that. :) I wish the best of luck to everyone in the competition! This will be fun and right around the time that Fate Falcon is supposed to be released. So, if anyone wants to play it before the open beta is released for browser game play, you might want to check the Windows 8 store. during the competition. As a limited time event I will also give anyone who sends an email saying what kind of ship they would like in between June 14th and June 21st I will make that ship for them to use within the game. No other player will be able to buy or obtain that ship.

  • Can we use Construct Classic?

  • Well I want to give this a shot for sure!!

Hopefully I can come up with a good enough Idea and pump it out by June 14th :P

  • Try Construct 3

Any word from the microsoft email support? I tried contacting him (andrew@microsoft.com) but he has not answered me in over a week.

    Thanks for the contest.

I'd like to suggest for future contest that there be a better submission process.

The blog said we may contact andrew iirc, but he has answered none of my emails.

Also, the only verification my apps were submitted was from ashley saying as long as I emailed andrewsbs@microsoft.com with my app then it was submitted. Problem is, were he has not responded to my entries, how do I know my emails are even getting to him, being read, not blocked, or missing information to make my entry valid.

I lost ambition in this contest because of this, it would be better if our entries could get notification to say yes, we got your submission. I've never seen a contest before were your submission is not responded to in some way.

    Thanks.

  • - competitions can be very time-consuming to run, and as we're such a small company we didn't want the fact we were running a competition to slow down the other things we're working on. So we really prefer to have it done this way. I'll ask Microsoft to see if they can be more responsive.

  • Apologies if we didn't get back to you sooner, hopefully you have now received an email from myself (let me know if you haven't received it). We get a lot of emails every day, so it's very hard to keep on top of them. If you've sent an entry to andrew@microsoft.com, then you can rest assured that we've received it.

  • Ashley

I just got a message from Microsoft about 10 minutes ago confirming my entries have been received (unfortunately it does not say which, but oh well at least now I know they are GETTING at least one entry).

Thanks for the quick responses as usual Ashley, you guys rock.

    Thanks! I did get it.

    cheers
