  • I know what it's like for artwork to not come out as I expected. Besides, my artwork is kinda dumb looking compared to yours that I personally think looks professional. I'll be selling my game once it's finished, I just hope people will think it's worth the price. How do you make that artwork so good? I mean, the player character for my game looks like some weird orange box with a head, arms, and legs. Of course, I'll work on that sometime soon. I hope it works out well for you!

For me, having never done this sort of thing, it's been looking at existing artwork in the style that I want and trying to learn from that. It's a slow process, but I'm certainly happy with the progress I've made so far!

      • Okay, what percentage of the project do you think you have finished, apx?

Jeez, no idea. Considering how much I want to put in, mechanics I want to build/write tutorials for, artwork... I feel like I'd be lucky if I've finished 5%! Not to mention, there are definitely ways I could tidy up my existing code, so to be honest, I'm probably closer to 2-3% at most!
