Thanks for the response. I hope you didnt take this post as a dig at what you're doing. Only you (Scirra) know whats right to do and when to do it.

I have run a couple of companies myself and i know generally you cant run them as a committee. Everyone wants something different.

C2 is an amazing achievement and i have to say i havent had as much fun on my PC for years, so thanks for that. Its nice to hear youre looking to expand too. That will be good for everyone <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

The 3 items i mentioned are simple additions to the layout editor which would make it better to use. I could probably come up with another half a dozen if i thought about it.

I dont expect Scirra to add everything that gets requested, however i dont recall a clamour for speech recognition either <img src="smileys/smiley14.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

My point wasnt about the exporters specifically. Its the overlooking of other needed features.

Could we have some of the stuff thats been on the to do list for ever.

Its nice to be able to export to all and sundry but some simple updates to the mechanics wouldnt go amiss either.

In the layout editor.. zoom to mouse, select from z-list, group sprites and numerous other valid requests made over a long time.

I dont need reminding that Scirra is a small team etc, and i know they do have a superb product. Sometimes the little things can make a big difference.
