  • No, browser will not translate anything.

    You can use it to detect user's preferred language, but you will need to provide translations for all text or voice messages yourself.

    Browser.Language="en_GB" -> Audio play "Hello"
    Browser.Language="en_US" -> Audio play "Howdy"
    Browser.Language="en_AU" -> Audio play "Gday"
    Browser.Language="fr_FR" -> Audio play "Bonjour"

  • Try Construct 3

    Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • I tried your file and it works for me, the screenshot is saved, but with a few pixels of yellow background on one of its sides (depending on window proportions). Is this the problem you are having?

    You can also try Paster plugin. Basically you paste objects or layers on it, and then invoke download of Paster.imageUrl

  • Not sure if this is correct. "For each" should be before "Pick nearest".

    See this picture.

    If event 767 picks 3 red instances, then "Pick nearest" event will pick only one green instance, nearest to the first only red instance. (although there may be other green instances located closer to other red instances)

  • So what's your question?

    You need to use an array. Add (push) new scores, sort by highest score and display the first 10. Save/load this array in Local Storage as JSON.

  • The best you can do is select a group of objects on the layout, right click and align them or change their size..

  • You can use Sprite.Sine.CyclePosition expression.

    For example, for horizontal movement:

    Sprite.Sine.CyclePosition is between 0.25 and 0.75 -> Sprite set animation "Left"
    Else -> Sprite set animation "Right"

    I also recommend LiteTween addon (instead of Sine), you can make much nicer looking movements with it. And it has events like "LiteTween on end", which you can use to pause your enemy.

  • You can use Browser.Language expression.

  • This event fills the array with consecutive numbers.

    x=0, value=0

    x=1, value=1

    x=2, value=2

    etc.

  • Oh, you also need to stop simulating controls immediately after the thumbstick is released.

    Here is the fixed capx:

    dropbox.com/s/4aozq7uhkz1absj/testwalk2.capx

  • Different (smaller) tilemaps for each level will use less memory.

    But it depends on the number of tiles and their size. If the entire tilemap is like 1000x1000 px or less, then splitting it into smaller tilemaps may not be worth it.

  • ProgressBar is the easiest of all form controls to replicate.

    Just add a sprite or a tiled background and do this:

    ProgressBarSprite set width to (currentProgress/maximumProgress)*barWidth

    .

    For example:

    healthBar set width to (player.health/100)*250
