I cannot say enough how much of a hassle updating DirectX is for more than half the people that want to try your game (and usually don't thanks to this reason.)

I like this concept. I use a lot of these expressions and I think this is a good way to simplify and organize them.

Until one exists or you make your own, why not use the "construct powered" logo that is included in the Pixel Shader template from within Construct itself.

Just turn the warp shader off and copy it.

I always include a "tools used" credit when I do anything.

It is my understanding that Ashley wanted to create his own software to do the things he felt the Clickteam line of products could not, and it grew into Construct.

I wouldn't worry about it. If it turns out the FPS is a bit lower than you'd like in the end, then you can make adjustments. Bad idea to slow down your game development obsessing over framerate.

Developers always (well, usually) save optimization for last.
