  • I second onion skin request!

More like Nth request... onion skinning has been requested several times before.

  • [quote:2ae0tysg]I'd still like to see the option to not align the image by hotspot though...

    what do you mean deadeye?

I mean in the image editor, when you set the hotspot the image is moved so the hotspot is always centered. I find it annoying, and I wish there were a toggle for it so you could center on the hotspot or center the image itself (like it used to be).

  • OK, i see - they currently function by nudging pixel by pixel.

    WHAT

You can nudge by pixel with numlock off?!? Holy crap... I did not know this.

Anyway, yeah you can set it to the sides/corners/middle just as you described with numlock on. I'd still like to see the option to not align the image by hotspot though...

  • Awesome... there definitely aren't enough games about lion tamers

  • Pretty good for a first game

I must say though, I'd like to see something with original art.

  • What's the story here? Are these ex-Constructors?

    You've caused a chain reaction!

  • "Fullscreen" doesn't really describe the display resolution

  • Well, technically you could go higher than 1920x1080 HD resolution, if your monitor supports it, but I don't see why you'd want to.

As for sprites, they're 32bit, iirc (24 bits for color info and 8 bits for alpha). Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

    Edit:

Oh, and before you get all graphics-happy, you should read up on optimization on the wiki:

    http://apps.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/c ... ation_tips

Just because you can make huge sprites doesn't necessarily mean you should.

  • Then you will have to suffer under the crushing weight of having to type a word more than one time.

(I wrote that post before I knew you would have to do the confirmation each time your IP changed, sorry )

  • I don't know how much simpler than four events you want, but that looks like a pretty good solution to me.

  • Can you get any audio to play that is less than 44khz?

Just as a quick test, I made 22kHz and 44kHz .wav files, both using SFXR, and the 22kHz sound would not play. Go ahead and post a bug report, if you haven't already.
