That was actually fixed in one of the most recent builds, for which I am eternally greatful.

For the most part, try using the wand tool to select an obscure shape and then try to flip it. It won't work properly.

  • Deadeye, you should make a template thing so that people can understand how to use animations?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Yeah you're right. n_n

It does seem like they've done this sensibly .

  • Will this be remain like this forever? Where we have to manually tell the animatino to play, when we didn't even tell it to stop?

  • ahh well. Guess having pixel art is really not ideal for this program.

  • I don't know if this is possible with Construct, but since the zoom thing isn't a perfect way to get a crisp pixel art. Can other things be used like 'Super 2xSaI' when the window is resized? Or any other of the similar sort of algorithms? Since they look quite nice

  • Thanks for that deadeye

If only it was as simple as MMF's

  • I guess I can give it to you to! n_n

  • Rich I sent you a PM (I hope PMs work)

And Deadeye sorry but that didn't help

  • Is there a way to stop animations "locking up", I have most of the animations set to 'looping' but for my 'ducking' animation I have no looping and it stays on frame 4 once it ends.

Once I've pressed down it will duck, but then when I hold down right to play my 'running' animation it will not play. So it prevents all the animations from playing.

I've tried placing the "play animation" action in various places in my events, but there will always be some 'locking up' glitch after I've played the ducking animation.

    Anyway to work around this?

i don't know how it's different since i just now downloaded Construct, but you can select what layer you're working in on the right -- look for the small tab. you can click the little thumb-tack icon to get it to stay there.

Yeah but how do I know what objects are on that particular layer?

  • So how do I tell what objects are on what layers, since you've got rid of that?
