You can increase the layout margins in the layer properties to scroll further up and left. You'll need to turn on unbounded scrolling, though, for it to work at runtime.

You can do all of those with events, though you're right that it would be good to have some plugins to make some of them quicker and easier to make, especially the editbox.

I haven't tried phonegap, though I've tried titanium, which worked but the performance made it ususable (I think it was on an ipod touch 3GS though, not sure about ipod touch 4).

There's also appmobi, which claims to have a canvas accelerator that boosts performance by 500%: appmobi.com

Hopefully with hardware acceleration coming soon to iOS HTML5, performance will be improved enough to make games for the platform!

There's also an irregular bug that sometimes make copying events/actions/conditions not work. Because of that, I generally select some text in an expression, copy that, which greys out paste when I select the events/actions/conditions, so I know when it's actually copied, because it un-greys paste.

They have to agree to the DX EULA. Apart from that, I don't think so. Might be worth reading over the EULA carefully, though, all the info you need is there.
