  • imothep85 we're going to soon start working on an Arcade plugin that will allow you to log high scores without any programming!

    In the mean time if you want a high score system you will have to write some simple server side code like PHP to achieve it.

  • digimonk Construct 2 works slightly differently to other game engines, it's an engine that requires no programming and Construct 2's functionality is extended with plugins which are small JS files. Someone would need to write a plugin that wraps Roar up to allow all Construct 2 users to easily use it in their games.

  • Users choice voting has started as well, so make sure you play all the games as well and vote on them!

  • I share Cassianno's thoughts, if you use a provider like Paypal then customers will be much more willing to spend money on an unknown site, it's why we went with Paypal first along with it being fairly easy to set up.

    Just to let you know that the badges you refer to are only for 'Early Adopters', these are users that purchased Construct 2 very early on in it's development.

    Customers at the moment do not get these badges, however we are going to be introducing a badge for paying customers soon that will look slightly different! As soon as it's released you should be awarded one automatically.

    What is a weighted rating?

    A weighted rating is calculated using the formula at the bottom of this page:

    It's designed to make the voting harder to game. The more rep you have, the more your vote counts! Users with very little rep (for example new registrations) will have very little influence on the weighted rating.

    This should mean that it will be pointless to register accounts to up vote your own game etc!

    Yes I'm just closing the rotary category for updates now, (I left it open to make sure you could get yours in).

    After it's over we will open it up again for games to be updated as normal! For now they are frozen though.

  • It's just the way payment processors work, you have a balance with them and then when you choose to you can withdraw it to your bank account.
