We fixed a memory leak and adjusted the measurement to measure the same thing the C2 runtime did, I wouldn't read too much in to that difference.

I think you should file a bug for this, it wasn't intended to change the crop mode, only centered mode.

AFAIK it works for everyone else. So I suspect it's some kind of graphics driver bug. Try installing any available software updates.

2103 is larger than 2048, so you still can't guarantee those images will load on all devices.

It looks like it is this intentional change:

Browser: Request fullscreen 'Centered' incorrectly did 'Letterbox scale

Your project requests "centered" fullscreen mode, and now appears to correctly go in to centered mode, which is comparable to fullscreen mode "off".

Maybe you should just change the type of fullscreen mode requested?

The largest widely supported image size is 2048x2048. Construct should have warned you if you tried to use larger images. Your project uses larger images - I found one which is 4206x1300, which will require support for 8192x8192 images, which AFAICT only around 25% of devices support. Those images will fail to load on devices that do not support images that large. You need to use smaller images.

You choose the minimum version when exporting, so it's set by that.

If you store everything in units of 10^15, then internally you are dealing with smaller numbers that won't hit the limit. When you display them to the user, you can just add a few zeros on the end so it looks the same. So this shouldn't break anything or make any visible difference to the user, but means the actual stored numbers are much smaller so fit within the precision limits.

Yes.

-If the alpha is empty, do I save much performance beyond just memory by cropping 30 % of the 128x128 texture?

The source texture only affects memory usage. If you draw it at the same size, it will use the same fillrate. If you draw it smaller, it will use less fillrate.
