Click "New Project" at the top of the project bar. In the properties bar, change "Preview mode" to "Disk". Does that work?

Hi, what operating system and service pack are you using? If you're on XP service pack 1, the new local HTTP server might not work. Have you tried "disk" mode in project properties?

Oops - I just realised, that EXE is incompatible with the r48 HTML5 exporter. The crash is because of that, it won't occur in the next release.

Can anyone else confirm textures work in the layout with the above fix? It'll crash on run, but don't worry, I just need to know if the textures work.

Paste the Construct2.exe file over the one in your r48 installation. Does it fix it? Do textures appear then?

What's your graphics card? When you say it worked with the last version, was that r47.2 it works OK in?
