That's odd - Construct 2 doesn't use .NET and uses very few DLLs (mainly the HTML5 exporter DLL in the install directory).

Have you tried reinstalling C2?

Edit: you might want to try clearing your cache and re-downloading from Scirra.com - some other threads I've found indicate that error might be from corrupt files.

I've seen a few reports of "object has no animations" bugs. I'm not going to be able to do anything about that until we're back from our break. So I'm not going to set off the auto-updater now. Hopefully I'll be able to fix it for the next release then have a new build out and auto-update to that. Sorry for the trouble!

Another typical solution is to have an invisible "detector" sprite, always positioned to the right and left of your object. To test if you're against a wall, test if one of the detectors overlaps a wall.

Well, that's odd! If you don't minify the script, it works OK. If you minify it, it changes the behavior. It must be something the minifier is doing. I'll look in to it.

That's really odd, normally a grey screen like that means an error occurred, and the error is listed under 'Console'. If there are no errors I'm not sure what to say! I've never seen that happen with no errors before.

ScottP, that might work if you made a plugin with the Javascript SDK, but otherwise it's probably too hard to edit the code by hand - it's all auto generated and not easy to work out.

Browser audio support isn't very good at the moment - it's probably the fault of the browser and not Construct 2. Try Firefox or IE9 - is it any better in those?
