Apparently the version number issue has been fixed. I think they're also currently working on permissions and hiding the status bar too.

JSLint is a useful tool for web development, but I don't think it is useful for C2. It wasn't designed for our type of use, and it only makes source-formatting type suggestions, which is not really important to end users. Nobody can usefully work with the Javascript output from export, but you can use the plugin SDK which is much neater and easier to work with.

I'm not sure you really mean a compiler. Maybe the Function plugin is what you're after?

It doesn't look like it directly supports HTML5, but hopefully the Awesomium desktop-app wrapper will also work for Linux.

Try setting 'Sampling' to 'Point' in Project Properties. That should be all that's necessary.

sqiddster - as our recent blog post said games are 90% rendering, so once you start using hardware accelerated rendering most of the important differences disappear. Of course our squares-test shows higher performance on native, but that's mainly because the test actually measures the CPU time to issue a draw call.
