FragMOTION is a powerful 3D modeler and animation software, the list of features is available in their site: FragMOSOFT site. It can export animations as sprite sheets or individual files. This tutorial will explain how to import these animations into Construct 2 and attaching it to a sprite with the 8-Direction behavior.

To make import process easier there are a few considerations when animating the models:

   a) Make the model bottom to stand over origin point (0,0,0)

   b) When animating the model it should be positioned so that the center is always on the origin point (0,0,0).

For this tutorial the model used for exporting is included with FragMOTION. It’s located in this path:

C:\Program Files\Fragmosoft\fragMOTION 1.2.2\Models\ jarjar.arg
