  • I want to bring people's attention to the jam that will take place on September 5th and will run for 3 days.

A perfect place for you to unleash your creativity, hone your skills, find new friends and perhaps even future business partners!

It's called Down2Jam and it's a community-centered game jam with easy ways for devs to share, discover, and discuss submitted entries.

I know many participants there and they're all awesome people. I highly recommend everyone reading this post to try it out. You never know how it may change your life and ultimately help you become a better game developer!

There are also streamers who can play your game live on Twitch and if you've never seen your game played like that you should try it - it's a lot of fun.

While it's a few weeks away, now is a good time to suggest your own theme and find people to collab with!

Would love to see more Construct devs there! Are you Down2Jam?

  • Hey, I participated in the last LD and made a short game which I want to share with the local community :)

Climb back to life in this puzzle arcade as you bounce your way out of near-death experience.

Flatline has 10 levels that will test your reflexes, chill original soundtrack and voice overs, the latter serving both as demotivators (when you start the level) and motivators (when you beat it).

I only just released the final update for the game which introduced Live Leaderboard and it was my first time dealing with PHP & SQL side of things. Huge props to this tutorial for helping out on that.

The original jam version (included in the project files) was made in less than 48 hours. It lacks a few features (Autocomplete & Highscores) and not as polished, but mostly the same experience otherwise.

    Flatline

And we have plans of making successor project as our first commercial debut on Mobile and maybe Facebook / Youtube games. Something more cheerful, forgiving and better explored in every aspect of the design.

Did you also participated in the jam? Let me know!

I also sometimes stream games from there, if you want to get in queue there's Discord server for submissions or if you just want to hang around and talk all things gamedev you're more than welcome
