  • It is supported on iOS 8+. (It's not the Intel XDK that supports or does not support it, it's iOS itself.)

    Ah, I see... Thanks Ashley!

Wait, doesn't iOS support updates for all systems? Doesn't even matter if that's only supported version.

  • , I've also has the suspicion that NW will be the new editor framework. It works for Intel XDK (I think).... What's glaringly missing from that 8 month old blog are things like animation preview in the layout window (including particles) and full box2d access. As c3 appears to be just an editor update, permitting people who can code to add extensions to the editor etc, I'm concerned that we'll still be waiting for hardware to catch up before html5 will be a better prospect outside of web browsers. It'll have to offer something really juicy to entice people to update. No news is no news!

Hardware really doesn't seem like too much of a limitation to me considering UE4 is the only competing engine for me, personally, and I can't run it on my computer. xD

Aside from that though, if Scirra does take the suggestions handed from the users that have made a list for them, the simple editor update should be reason enough to be excited. Not much Scirra can do about the support of HTML5, but the performance of HTML5 is awesome for PC, which is my favorite system to play games on, so I have no complaints of performance either way. xD

  • Is it supported? If there is limited support, what would you suggest to use instead?

  • Everything public that has been announced is in this blog post. If we have anything to add we'll make further public announcements.

Welp, thanks for the reply, but I've already read it, so I guess I'll just wait.

Sorry for wasting your time, I was just really curious of your direction with C3. Guess I have to be patient... Typically not good at it, but I'll try.

  • Okay, so I could be completely wrong about everything I'm about to say, but here goes:

Firstly, is there any way you could port it to Android?

Reason, I don't want to use Windows anymore, I'd like to install Android and use it for game designing. Construct 3 on Android for my desktop... Would make my life so much better.

Secondly, what would it take for this to be done?

For some reason I get a idea that you're basically redesigning Construct 2 in Node Webkit... I'm unsure as to why I believe this, but based on things you've said I've just kind of begun to think that (or else I may have read it).

This would mean that it'd be supportABLE on Android, right? Because the mobile/tablet/(PC for weirdos like me) market could really do for a nice mobile game designing program. And I would literally love you guys for life. I'd even be willing to pay you a significant amount to make this possible. XD Anyways, Ashley, Tom, these kinds of questions are of course meant for you guys.

  • -1 would mean there is no tile at that position? That seems to be my only issue, because although that's what I'm checking, it's not giving me the correct results. I'm fine in every other regard, but certain blank spaces don't seem to return -1. I might be having an issue elsewhere that Im not seeing.

Thank you! You've cleared it up a little for me, maybe I can find out what's going on

  • Working on a simple procedural generation system for a mobile digging game for the Underground Jam, but I can't seem to find an option for checking whether a tile exists at a specified position.

I need this to create the water tiles at the right positions.

  • Check out the game I've been working on for the Underground Jam! Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

  • Shader me impressed.

  • Heyylo, everyone! So, some of you might have seen my recent posts about a project I've been working on, and since the most recent posts that I've shared, I've made quite a few improvements. Though it remains incompleted at this moment, because of lack of assets. When the programming side of things is completely finished, it will be released as an assetless complete game that people can work off of. But I'm still in need of a team to make the game a reality and possibly get it published!

Check out this OGA post to learn more about it:

  • Hate Mediafire and their ilk!

For some reason, won't download, albeit your other links downloaded fine.

Sorry about that, I'll see what I can do to fix it.

  • Update 0.5: Vehicles now working! First vehicle created: Helicopter.

Enter the vehicle with up key, exit with E.

Vehicle collisions with player are now disabled if the vehicle has no passengers, or it's controlled by a team member.

Future vehicle updates will include the ability to splatter other players.

  • This works beautifully if you don't mind using a third party plugin.

This is fantastic, thanks a lot.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • If possible. I haven't seen this anywhere and would really like to know how, in order to add some things to my most recent mobile game.

  • While I did not download the zip file, I really did not understand what's this about. Is it a game made in Construct 2? Is it made in something else? The title is quite confusing

Yupp, zenox98 has a point. I am sorry about the misleading title though, I'll change it after I finish my first Underground Jam submission.
