  • Thank you. I use a couple of rex's text plugins to get the test to work properly and look the way it does. I import json files to arrays for the text, no external xml.

  • Many of the features in the beta aren't available yet, as they are trying to bug test different things at different times I believe so they aren't overwhelmed with bugs. I'm not sure if the array editor is one of the disabled features or not, as I didn't try using it, but I would imagine it is.

The construct community has grown to the place where not everyone wants or needs the same things, which makes it hard for everyone. A good start would be releasing features. One of the frustrations that I've seen is that everything is always coming soon, just around the corner, in the pipeline etc.

  • The devs were taking their weekend break. I think now that the new week has started we'll see a lot more bug fixes once again. There are a ton for them to go through at this point.

  • So that's where it went. I couldn't find it before lol. thanks.

Unfortunately the debates are unfruitful. Whatever side of the fence you're on, vote with your wallet.

  • lol, so true

  • If that's true about local storage then you should create a bug report.

  • There are no 3rd party plugins for C3 yet.

  • Yeah, they were trolling us because of all the comments on rounded corners after they made that blog post. I thought it was hilarious April Fools prank.

This is just my opinion as a C2 hobby user who enjoys the software and has made several small games and am currently 3 years into a major project that is only about half way finished.

Scirra is in the business of making game engine software, they are not in the business of making games. I truly believe that if they were to take 6 months to a year and use that time exclusively to try to make a really good game using their engines, it would completely change their minds on what is really needed in comparison to what is currently being offered.

My opinions on C3 haven't really changed much in the past week. I'm still planning on waiting until it is further developed before putting too much time into checking it out. But I still enjoy C2, respect what the developers are trying to accomplish with C3, as well as browsing these forums. When I notice something positive I always want to try to take the time to give thanks and encouragement.

  • I'm sure it wasn't mods, as there would be no reason for them to delete posts from here. Hopefully my post didn't infer that, as that was never my intent.

  • Someone deleted posts from this thread as well for some reason.
