  Oh, right - I missed the .capx. Can you post that to the bugs forum following all the guidelines? That is the standard way of dealing with issues like this.

  Ha, are you kidding? Safari 5.1.7? That is the last version before Apple retired Safari on Windows five years ago, right? Nobody uses that any more and it's not useful for testing - I'd avoid using it at all!

  I did test on iOS 10.2.1 and it worked fine. I think you'd best follow the guidelines for a bug report to investigate this further, i.e. create a minimal .capx that reproduces.

  The Audio plugin is already designed to suspend the audio context when the app goes in to the background - specifically to save power.

  However if you enable the "Play in background" property it won't, so make sure that's disabled.

  The "Guest" text in the screenshots refers to the local login, not a collaboration feature.

  We're not snatching anything from anybody's wallet. You don't have to buy it if you don't want to. It's entirely your choice to opt in to that if you feel it is worth it. Our job is to make it absolutely worth it.

  There is very little money in online ads. You need a huge number of visitors to make any significant amount of money. We think getting a few extra sales of Construct helps cover the running costs much better than normal banner ads.

  It's a free service we run - if you don't like the ads you don't have to publish there.

  We have lots of ideas for the Arcade but we just don't have the resources to address it right now - we're 100% on Construct 3 at the moment.

  The Arcade is pretty demanding on our servers and we help support that with the ads for Construct. I'm not really convinced the payment model you suggest would work as a substitute.

  I just tested Local Storage on iOS 10.2.1 and it worked fine.

  Are you sure it isn't just a mistake in your events? This is why in bug reports we ask for a minimal .capx demonstrating the issue.

  Construct 2 already has a savegame system, which uses browser storage. If you want your savegames to be synced to other devices, it doesn't seem like a good idea to pick platform-restricted services - presumably you'd want to cover all platforms. The API in the original post looks limited to Android only.

  At least at first, there won't be. There are lots of non-obvious problems, such as you can't currently pass Z positions to the renderer, because there's no need for them - everything is 2D right now.

  Having it in Construct 3 other than a plugin made by some hobbyist (and by NO means do I intend any disrespect to the developer of the Greenworks plugin...he is a lifesaver where Construct 2 could not do this)

  If you mean the Construct 2 plugin, we do develop that officially ourselves already.
