  • A few possibly, but it's at the stage now where I consider it complete. Just a few bugs to fix.

    Do you have any ideas for new features? I'd like to try and encourage people to upload capx examples the the examples section more.

  • I already posted this on the twitter, but i guess i can ask it here too, an update where you could upload games over 10mb in size would be nice.

  • omgitburns 10mb is a set limit mainly for bandwidth reasons. We have no plans to increase it at the moment.

  • I remember a topic in which you asked about uploading examples with capx to the arcade.

    So far I haven't because most of the capx I do are in response to support topics or because sometimes I feel it's more clear/quicker to provide a capx than a written answer.

    The step of exporting/uploading to the arcade doesn't sit well in my workflow as far as support goes.

    But some users like Miu3 and smitchell, newt, tonycrew and other users who posted examples in the "Your creations" part of the forum should be going this way.

    They all are probably unaware of this option, and I don't think that most users have the reflex to go and check the arcade for examples yet either.

    That's how I see it for now though.

    As far as I'm concerned, I just haven't considered/taken the time yet to export/upload examples I might have and put them in the arcade/link them in the how do I FAQ.

  • Thanks for the feedback! With enough rep games are auto approved in the arcade now so it shouldn't be too much of a hassle, and you can pin capx's for download to games as well.

    But I understand it still might not be streamlined/easy enough, I will think about it some more.

  • Could the webstorage plugin be approved for the arcade? Its just the easiest way to do save games.

  • Yeah an easy save function would be lovely, if that's possible.

  • The problem with WebStorage is without hacks it would share data with all other games on the domain (i.e. all other arcade games). So setting 'lastLevel' to 5 could overwrite another game's 'lastLevel'. It can be fixed with some hacks, but it's a little complicated...

  • Could you do something like automatically put the project name at the beginning of every tag?

    Yes I am planning on uploading some capx' on the arcade for people to download.

    But im currently working very hard on my competition game <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> so as soon as thats finished then cool beans.

    but the thing is im not sure what to make to show people.
