  • Hi everyone, i'm Francisco, a game developer from chile

  • Hello, my name is Nathanael. Not new here, really, but hello anyway! Just a college student learning the awesomeness of programming and game development. Not sure, exactly, how I found Construct. But, I can gladly say I'm extremely happy I did. The concepts to writing code are all so similar. I've done a bit of C#, JS, and PHP, but that can include C2 if you can consider that too :)

Making games was always an interest as was programming itself. Video games were always an inspiration to new ideas of what I wanted to do. Still, never really got into it until I found Construct. Really for games, but that's what started the journey into more interesting parts of the programming world. I have a fondness for JavaScript, but web development is an overall interest.

Soon, hopefully, I'll grasp the concepts to programming, game and game development, and what ever else there is in relation to that. Plenty of tutorials out there and experimenting is most fun. A fat book doesn't get me far, but Construct gives me a very nice tool to experiment with and I can't wait to see where Construct 2 will be in time.

    Thanks, Scirra!

  • Hello!

Been here for a few weeks. Thought I would introduce myself to get a nice sparkly new badge :p

  • Hello,

I love C2 and should have registered sooner.

Since I'm new here, sorry if this thread is in the wrong place.

I joined to report a bug with the "Load image from URL"

I can't get it to work with firefox or chrome.

It works fine with IE, safari, & opera.

I get this with both tiled backgrounds and sprites.

I have the same results whether WebGL or pixel rounding is on or off

    Same goes with builds r95, r98, & r99.

    Please help, TYIA

  • Hi all. My name's Niall O'Brien and I'm a multimedia designer & web developer for a research group called TSSG here in the south east of Ireland. I'm currently exploring some game development techs to see which would be more suited to some of my hobby projects.

I'm on Mac, but C2 seems to run fine in a VM! :)

I look forward to joining the discussions here!

    Niall.

  • Hi, my name is Eric. I own and operate a small game development studio in Southeast Asia. I wrote my first game in 1978 for synapse software for the atari800/1200. Later I worked for atari corp, EA and many small dev houses.

I am currently working on a old style multiplayer game with new social network game features. I also have several plugins/behaviors I will be publishing soon.

    Love to hear from you.
