  • Hello everyone,

I have been an indie developer for a few years. I have tried using Unity and HeroEngine only to discover that it requires an army of developers to create anything good. I decided to attempt something smaller and looked into HTML5 and JS games and found Construct 2. I can't get over how easy it is to use compared to other game tools. I will finally be able to create the game I want and see it to completion. Thanks Scirra

I can't wait to finish my first game.

  • Hey everyone, I'm a game design student and I'm using Construct 2 (free version at the moment) to work on a project for a possible internship position. I'm designing a game to be used on the Ipad that assists Autistic Children as they undergo speech therapy. My plan for the game is to educate them on basic arithmetic and grammar, teach life skills and money management, also how to interact in different social situations. Pretty much all of the benefits of their usual therapy but in a more fun and accessible form. It's my summer project and I'm a one man team so wish me luck !

  • Hello everyone :D

I'm 19 years old and always wanted to become a video game developer/designer but to be more specific I want to become a Level designer/editor and then hopefully game producer at an AAA company like Naughty Dog etc.

I haven't started using C2 yet because I'm at holiday and I hope to purchase the standard edition as soon as I get back home in mid July :D

  • Hello!

I love doing things that challenge my brain and patience :D I love to learn new things all the time. Right now, I'm enjoying/loving Construct 2 in fact I was able to make simple games! in just 2 weeks, I never thought I would have the passion or patience but yea, I created some shooting, platform and pacman like game, with the help of manual and tutorials, I'm actually making progress! :D I'm not a programmer, in fact I got this software just to have fun and as an addition to my hobbies. In my younger years I enjoy playing gameboy, atari, sega etc... Asian love games and gadgets :D And here I am trying to make my original game that kids may enjoy. All my games are not perfect, yet... But I'm still working on it, I know that it will take time for me to be an expert but oh well, just gonna enjoy learning :).<font size="6">6</font>

  • Hey!

I have some experience creating games with GM but changed to C2 recently and had no regrets since. I love the software here. I'm creating a football (soccer) game and hope to be able to post a demo soon so I can get your opinions to be able to improve my game.

  • Hello! My name is Jrgen (Mhm)

My dream is to live by devloping games. I have been using Unity 3D a bit, but it's too much coding for me. And I don't have time to learn it..

Sooo much school at the time. Else I like to game (ofc), listen to music, learn new stuff and hang out with friends. I discovered this amazing engine today, and I've read a few tutorials. So I know a bit now. And It's pretty easy when you first learn it ^^

    That's me!

Thanks and have a good day! : )

  • Hey everyone,

    The name is Lance

In advance let me start by saying nice to meet you.

I'm a business consultant by trade, my entry into computers was a trs80 with no programmable storage. It came with basic and a manual of game code that you would have to program every time you wanted to play. I developed on from that computer into assembly language code and on to the c language with an early Borland compiler. Created a few programs for work efficiency before losing track of programming when my first child was born. As they got older I found more time and began to dabble in JavaScript through a Firefox add on (grease monkey) and developed scripts for the games I played online. My fianc purchased a license for me in April and I've been working ever since on developing my first Facebook game.

    Again, nice to meet you

    Lance

  • Hi all,

I'm Guntur. I've been doing indie gamedev since 2007 with my studio called SoybeanSoft. Most games developed with AS3, but up till 2011, we shifted using ShiVa3D and developed a 3D casual RPG. Now after a year using ShiVa3D, I wanted to refresh and start small social games with HTML5. After searching through the options, Construct 2 seems like the most easiest to boot and robust with it's plugin system, which is awesome.

Looking forward in releasing a facebook game with this baby :)

    That's all for now,

    Guntur
