       i am new to this forum

What can I say? I am 65 and retired and also disable, therefore what can one do? My son�s and daughter brought me lap-top and for my bedroom brought me Desk-top PC. I started some searching on net and to my surprise I found SCIRRA Construct 2. I said to myself let�s try it and brought the Construct2. I have learnt so much with Construct2 and never looked back. I have tried Game Maker, B4, and Android as well but, sorry to say no one can take SCIRRA Construct2 place and never will. Ashley and co has done wonderful job. Keep it up boys. If this old man can use Construct2 then any child could too. Hi folk.

I am a 42 year old Scot and program for a living (C#). I have always wanted to make games and after playing about with XNA I eventually stumbled across Construct2. Wow! This software is awesome and is really helping to accelerate my understanding of how games are put together.

I have tried GameMaker Studio, GameSalad (for Windows) and Stencyl. Although these programs are good at some things I have found that there are just points in my learning where I seem to hit a brick wall and things become very complicated.

So far so good.

I am planning on taking one of my old XNA games and porting it over - in order to expand it (which was always difficult in plain C# code).

Happy to be part of the community and looking forward to joining in the discussions.
