The Official Introduce Yourself Thread

  • Hello! My name is Kyle, and I own a haphazard indie game company (EvolvingPoet Media LLC). Like most people here, I hope to one day make a living off of our games, but I'm fine with just having for now.

  • Hey there!

The name's Gamepopper, I'm a game maker, games programming student and an animation film reviewer.

I made my first game on Construct2 back in February, which got me a job as a Windows Games Ambassador for Microsoft! I'm gonna try and make more since Construct2 is a really sophisticated and easy to use system for making games, as long as my University work doesn't hold me back.

If you wanna see what games I've made, check out my site here: Gamepopper's Game Development Site

If you wanna see what animated films I've reviewed, see here:

  • Hello :D

  • Hello, I'm an amateur game designer and artist. I'm from Poland. I've released one commercial indie game which wasn't a success.

I'm thinking about making myself in-dependable on others by 'programming' in Construct 2 by myself, I wouldn't have to deal with a programmer this way.

ATM I'm testing if I can get satisfactory results with free edition and if yes I'll consider buying the full version. I've checked the box about future promotions and offers, are any planned soon?

  • Hello all, my names John but you can call me Hudra. I come from Australia and i would love to learn to make some good 2D games so i hope you guys can help me out in the future.

  • I'm glad I can call myself a Construct 2 owner because I am very impressed with the possibilities of this software

Did I ever designed a game before? No

    Can I draw? No

I'm I good in math? No

But I really like to play videogames and build websites so I'll give it the best try I've got Succes is the only option and failure's not

Even my mom is using construct 2... Hope to learn alot from y'all

  • Hi All, nice to meet you. I'm Adam, usually called SecondDimension when I'm hanging around in the Internet. I live in the UK. The cat in my Avatar is my real-life cat.

I've been making games on and off as a hobby for a few years, but only got serious about it the last 6 months. I've taken part in the past two Ludum Dare Game Jams and loved the experience. I learned a lot in those two 48 hour competitions, and got a great confidence boost from placing fairly well in the rankings (top 80).

I've used a few IDEs including GameMaker and MMF2, but I've just purchased Construct2 as I wanted an hassle-free method of outputting HTML5 games. So far I'm finding it robust and easy to use.

I feel like I have at least one great game hidden somewhere in my brain, I intend to drag it out kicking and screaming and make you play it
