On which projects are you working?

I'm trying to create a project that simulates day/night cycle, weather conditions, temperature change and different biomes. Many type of games could be built on that ground work. Only problem is it seems to become easily graphically too resource intensive for older computers. Probably because the resolution is too high and too many effects..

  • It's good you are creating a code that you can recycle.

For the resource, I highly recommend to do all without effects. FPS will become much higher and the game can be enjoyed on more devices.

Wow, very nice and unique. Love that idea. Hope it turns out right how you want it.

I have at least 6 projects I have in mind that im so anxious to get out and work on as well. Still currently working on my first project "Maze Zone" which is a shooting arcade maze game. But I have my own topic of the game if yall want to know more about it. For the other 6, they are also arcade games as well 2 are geared towards fighting,3 shooting, and 1 more maze puzzle arcade. Can't wait to show my ideas and bring them to life!

  • GamerDude96 I can see that I am not the only one with a long list of projects to do :D

  • i want to see people make pixel horror games like the witch's house, the story of dorothy and rpg like machine knight. And pixel fighting games like Street fighter ,kof and shadow fighters. And horror multiplayer which 3 or 4 players are gathered and escape from chasing ghosts and they survive with team work. And i also like construct users to make horror anime rpg games based on black butler and other dark concept anime.

  • why releasing a game on Scirra's Arcade?

I mean, it's great for a demo, but you can't monetise it at all.

At least you could consider Scirra Store.

For PC I would suggest you to consider also itch.io and GameJolt if you don't want to publish on the usual big stores :-)

Good luck with your development! :)

  • wow, piece of cake, ill definitely play that game because i like anime. Anime games are really in high demand even though it doesnt seem like. i have been searching pixel anime games on playstore but after i find one, i just finished playing it and still want one.^^. otakus are everywhere.KEMCO games are just what i wanted but their games r beginning to feel all the same with the same plot. my favorite out of kemco games is machine knight. but still i play other kemco games cause there isnt much good anime games in playstore. playstore is the most popular store for androids.

I do agree that stores are good places to publish to, the Scirra Arcade version is just a demo of a little less than a quarter of the game (basically just letting you complete all of the tutorials and preview the better levels). I did make a Scirra Arcade-exclusive game, though. I thought, "why monetize that?" and uploaded the full version.

Thank you for the PC Game Store recommendations, I'll have to look into those!

Ok, a demo makes sense :)

  • its not rude at all, it is a good feature. this feature would help in making gamepad look more advancing and cool and attractive. i also thought of making my gamepad show some animation when touched cause it makes us know its being touched. this also increases player attention to the game. i have always wanted this, maybe we all have.

  • The subject of this topic is not about posting suggestions about features in Construct 3.

It would make more sense to have posted a new topic specifically for this.

Very nice and thats alot that you listed lol. But I understand. If you read the very first post of this topic, I mentioned that I will be making an arcade fighting game using construct 3 that are inspired by old arcade fighting games like Karate Champ, Samurai Shodown, Karateka, and yeah, along the line of Kof and SF graphics. So hurray lol. At least the thought of it is there until I finish my other projects lol.

Thanks for the mention! I will be glad to check it out. I'll let you know what I think of it too when I try it. Im not an anime fighting game lover, but I will give it a chance.

  • yes, youre right. it also keeps me going knowing you guys are making games. And also knowing your favorite games.:+)

  • Oh okay. I understand now.

  • Hello all, been having a lot of ideas and visions of games I would like to make. Another type of genre of games I see very few of with construct are adventurous puzzle type games. I have a nice idea of creating a 2.5D/3D type of puzzle/adventure quest game using construct. The inspiration came from an old arcade game on the C64 called "Prince of Persia". I watched the gameplay a lot already and is just amazed at how the character moves, jumps and reactions are when running/jumping. The game is very wonderfully made and I love the designs and details in it. I planned to make a game like this but I know it will take a lot of work. But am willing to give it a shot.
