[PLUGIN] JesseJoh's HTML Elements Pack

  • Nevertheless some temporary upload in the meantime.

    Thanks a lot! <img src="smileys/smiley20.gif" border="0" align="middle">

    Greetings ... Peter

  • Since JesseJoh is busy with his work, I'm placing here an addition I added to his plugins : the possibility to rotate the 3 elements (<div>, <iframe> and <img>). It doesn't work in IE,though.

I also added a property field to add an "ID" to those tags, to let you access them from outside C2's framework.

When JesseJoh is back, I hope we could integrate them in his plugins (for the moment, I added an extension "_Pode" to the modded plugins, to let everybody use the version they want, without breaking .capx project in the future).

In the end, you should thanks JesseJoh one more time for his work !

  • if the iframe plugin would have control over iframe attributes like frameborder, scrolling, marginwidth, marginheight it would be great, as it would be able to be used as a common mobile ad placeholder, right now I must use javascript for every instance to set thos through jquery, to make the iframe border invisible and for the ad to display correctly :( cheers, great plugin!

  • After dropping your 3 files into the plugin folder, and running the example, I get an error:

"Check failure...Action ID does not appear to exist in related plugin"

Do I need to remove or overwrite something ?

    Chrome browser XP sp2

  • chrisbrobs: Just to be sure, you made a folder inside the folder plugin, or just dropped the file in the root of the folder plugin ?

If the second, that may explain the error message.

"chrisbrobs: Just to be sure, you made a folder inside the folder plugin, or just dropped the file in the root of the folder plugin ?"

Screen-shot of Pode files inside C2 plugin folder:

    Is this correct?

  • chrisbrobs: Yes it is. Nvm my previous comment then.

  • Just know that I am still around, just very busy (but will be back for more full time plugin dev in the future)

  • chrisbrobs : strange, that means that between the moment I was editing the various files and the moment I uploaded, I forgot to save the implementation of one of the actions.

I'm going to check that this afternoon and reupload it...

  • You're doing a great job with these Pode

Still crashing Construct, when I attempt to open your example?

Any chance you can post the fixed one.

    Cheers

  • chrisbrobs : I'm a bit behind my schedule, but I didn't forgot you ! ;)

  • Okay, here's the new build for the plugins, I hope everything is working fine : dl.dropbox.com/u/1412774/pode_html_pack%28from_JJ%29.0.2.zip .

A new feature for the Div plugin : CSS 3D transform ! (Obviously, your browser need to support them. Good news : it's hardware accelerated, also on iOS platforms !)

The CSS3D feature is there to help you forgiving me being late, but since it's a new code, verything isn't ironed out (and only for DIV, for the moment)...

  • Working now!

    Thanks Pode

  • Hello Pode,

how can i create a new div-object? Whenever I create one I get in Preview

    "Assertion failure: No project JSON model available Stack trace: assert2((void 0),"No project JSON model available")@http://localhost:50000/preview_prelude.js:12 ()@http://localhost:50000/preview.js:217 ([object HTMLCanvasElement])@http://localhost:50000/preview.js:112 ("c2canvas")@http://localhost:50000/preview.js:10 ((function (a, b) {return new e.fn.init(a, b, h);}))@http://localhost:50000/:86 ([object HTMLDocument],[object Array])@http://localhost:50000/jquery-1.7.1.min.js:2 ([object HTMLDocument],[object Array])@http://localhost:50000/jquery-1.7.1.min.js:2 ()@http://localhost:50000/jquery-1.7.1.min.js:2 ([object Event])@http://localhost:50000/jquery-1.7.1.min.js:2"

    In your example capx:

When I create a new div-object I get the same error. When I create a new instance of your div-object and change the innerHtml it works fine? Strange.

    Edit:

Ok, found out that the original Plugin (Download posted by Kyatric: "some temporary upload") doesn't have this problem. <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Edit2:

With the original Plugin the preview works fine but in the exported project all font-colors are white and the background too <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> --> Add the style="color:red" and you'll see the characters.. <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    thanx, Joe7
