Yeah of course. I just needed something to work with quickly, thus the empty layout.

then when you click that it should bring up the download latest stable and all that

we have to get some cooler graphicalness that shows what construct does, without being too specialized towards one particular game

As long as the site is standards compliant, I hope? No fancy script stuff? CSS is quite powerful already by itself.

How much time we have got before you'll choose who's going to work on the site? I'm asking because i'm short on time at the moment, but as you know i would love to do it.

I've done web design before, but I'm more on the tech side, my designs are kind of love-or-hate, with most people falling on the hate side

Here's the home page mock up. There is few more things to be done like to better, more impresive screenshots, repeir a bit forum picture, maybe correct footer, and few minor once, and of course work out the text content.

In the main NAV bar Construct is selected, but it is only to show how this will look like. Anyway, ther it is:

I really like the design, layout and way you've used content. Very impressive.

One thing that I imagine could easily be changed (?) is the font used; I'd favour a slightly smaller and curvier font like the ones in the example designs in the opening post. I hope that's not too difficult to quickly change.

Changing the font is not a problem ( altho this fonts will look sharper once the html site will be ready ).

I'll see what fonts they used, however ,aybe best thing to do would be if you would give me names of fonts you would like me to use.

If you mean "Lorem ipsum..." stuff then that's common text to place. I don't see anything polish on this mockup.

megatronx, i think that's a very nice looking mockup. The layout and design in general are just about perfect, but the main banner image itself could use a little work. It's a little too large, and could use some tightening up on the design.

There are too many different styles of gears. The large one on the left is too skinny, and the one used as the C logo has some strange, sharp spurs on it. I'd also like to see a mix of newt's idea and yours, I think... having a series of Construct windows come out of the monitor would look great.

I might do a banner-image redesign based on your initial design, if it's all right with you

And — yeah, Lorem ipsum isn't Polish, it's Latin . It's commonly used as page filler for layout mockups.

I like the deisgn but I think its a bit to close to the colors of the unity site. I know the layout is common and there are only a so many ways to layout a site well, but I think more could be done with the color scheme.
