help with scaling character and setting collision! (point n click game)

Hello there beatiful people of this forum! I kindly need you help on figuring out how to scale my character(the green crystal) while it's moving,I'm making an experiment,some what of a point n click game,I'm really new to construct,I would like my character to move farther or further the image and get scaled accordingly...also When touching a certain spot of the image i would like to change the background,can someone help me with this? It would mean the world to me,thanks and cheers!

hello i've tried the demo file,but it is not working for me,I want my character to decrease in size while moving up,not the background,thank you anyway for the help

oh look at the event sheet and change the events:

every 0.001 sec set bg width to bg width+1,set bg height to bg height +1

change bg to the sprite

and if you want the sprite to go smaller change positive (+) to negative (-)
