How would I make a grappling hook?

As in when I click, my character shoots a grapple out towards the mouse, which the grapple then latches onto the platform and you could swing with it?

Step by step and in easy to read form, because I'm new to construct 3 and have no idea what im doing.

Not like terrarias no, thats a grapple then pull you there. i want more of a swing.

All examples I've seen were made with physics and joints. This is not an easy task for a beginner.

I believe you can do this with Sine behavior. I don't have a complete solution, but you can find a couple of demo projects which can help in this comment:
