Hi, im really interested about using Construct 3 to develop some games but i have a big doubt, is there any kind of version control system compatible with it?
Can i use git to have a version control or does construct has its own one or i'll have to make a lot of files like "game_version1, game_version_2, game_version1000"???
You can use the desktop download and save the project as a folder, which can be used with source control.
I actually just unpack the c3p whenever I'm done for the day. Works fine too unless you like to commit every small change individually.
That's a good idea, how do you repack as c3p after commiting?
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
A .c3p file is just a zip file of a project folder. So you can rename .c3p to .zip and unzip it, or zip a folder and rename it to .c3p to make it a project file again.
