  • Hi all, a quick question.

When working offline in the editor, I noticed that there is a period of time "Under Account and View Details while in editor (Top Right Corner)" - It mentions, 6-7 days that we have to reconnect in, but I couldn't find any further information on this.

Curious for remote work and if this is this just for free users? Or does everyone have to reconnect, and do paid users get a longer grace period before reconnecting? Also, if we are working on a local/offline project, does this have any effect when the time runs out, and what happens when it expires?

Just looking for some clarity as I could not find the information on my own just yet regarding it. I do understand why it needs to check for the users license, but more curious for paid users.

Thanks in Advance! Sorry for posting a second question so quickly.

  • The editor should work offline indefinitely, but you need to be online every 7 days to re-validate a subscription (see using an account in the manual). If you go longer than 7 days offline with a paid account, all that happens is it will go back down to the free edition until you go back online. You can still use the editor and even open your projects with the free edition, but subject to the free edition limits.

Thanks for the response! I'll have re-look into what features would be turned off ect. Fingers crossed for a longer paid user grace period. But still handy.

I saw the free version has unlimited script size so that is a bonus at least to adjust scripts for JS/TS.

    Warmest regards!
