I find that when you want to use NWjs, in particular to write files to the disk, in the desired place, that it is not very practical, you have to rebuild each time your application in NWjs, then test it on the disk.
Really not practical at all!
You can't test it directly (To write files, etc.), you have to rebuild the application every time, it's disconcerting, not practical at all, it's demotivating!
It's also this aspect that I don't like with WEB-type applications.
And if you tick the "Asset packaging" box, nothing goes wrong anymore, the files are not created (a priori)!
The desktop download version of Construct 3 lets you test NW.js features in preview mode, because it also runs in NW.js.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Where can I find it, please?
I think you didn't understand me, when I test my game with C3 (create a text file and write in it), in preview mode, then the file is not created ! I have to build my game for "the desktop", then I decompress my game, I test it, there, it creates the files.
You need to install the Desktop version, it runs preview in NWjs
You can find download link here:
Thank you very much dop 2000 !
