Failed to open project popup even the project opens successfully

Hi, since the last update, whenever I open my project, a popup appears saying 'failed to open project' (even though the project opens successfully). Additionally, when I try to save, it says 'unable to save project' (but the project saves anyway). I tried using different files and change the save locations, but I always get the same errors.

Does this still happen in the latest beta release r488?

Oh, I just tried opening and saving the file in r488, and it works perfectly now. Thanks!

Thanks for confirming - we'll have a stable patch release out soon (r487.2) to fix this.
