Casino? money? who knows? but the target is the same!
  • While i totally understand the apprehension against Twitter (i'm not even gonna call it X), i still think it's honestly a bad idea Construct has no visibility at all on there anymore. I keep forgetting that their account has been dormant since February or something so i often miss updates and would love to see more retweets of other cool things the community is doing.

As a private individual i guess it's easier to take a stance against certain platforms but as a business i would like Construct (like its competitors) to be more active on X again. Especially within gaming, it's unfortunately still a necessary evil but also helps to STILL get more eyes on the engine. Perhaps there will be a day where something like Blusky will blow Twitter out of the water but we're far from that and especially looking at the amount of followers the Construct Twitter channel has i find it a bit sad to just abandon it.

    Thanks.

  • They have moved from X to Bluesky

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Yes, i know that but most users are still on X and that won't change that fast, Musk or not. Again, i understand the sentiment and as a private individual it's one thing but for a company i still find it kinda difficult especially since you basically lose a huge amount of visibility and while i opened a Bsky account i personally don't care enough to hang out on ANOTHER social media platform. I used to get most Construct updates via Twitter or X or whatever they call themselves so i just find it not the best decision.

  • I have to agree. I don't need another doomscroll attention-sinkhole, I'm already on Twatter. I don't see the issue, nobody should care who the monkey at the top is. Kind of a "separate the art from the artist" deal. If anything, a company should be on all the big and relevant social media platforms.
