  • Is no one else having this issue?

I have vpn turned off, anti virus turned off, tried 3 different browsers. C3 just wont load.

I had zero issues until yesterday afternoon when it suddenly stopped loading. No changes my end.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • All working fine here, downloaded app and also in browser. Where do you live? I'm uk

  • UK.

Well I'm stuck and don't know what to do.

If it was my browser then the other browser would have worked.

I also tried clearing my cookies, cache etc. I also reset construct 3 by pressing f12 and application and clear site data.

If it was my vpn then switching it off would have worked.

If it was my anti virus then switching it off would have worked.

  • In the past cases of "400 Bad Request" are due to buggy browser extensions, VPNs, or security software, that interfere with the network requests the browser is making, and ends up making them invalid. In particular the error beginning "YIkPfp2E9gyQ09dk_yNy9scwlvKH58Ft..." does not look like a request Construct would normally make. So I would guess this is not actually a problem with Construct.

If you disable browser extensions/VPNs/security software, you may need to also clear your browser cache afterwards to allow it to start over properly - otherwise it may still be getting error responses from the cache.

  • Have you tried on your phone/tablet or some other device? That would exclude device-specific issues.

  • It’s working here as well. So might not be an issue with the server.

If you still error out with a different device on the same network then maybe try a different network as a test. Your phone is an easy test for this. You can load c3 on WiFi vs cell data. If it fails on WiFi but not on cell you could try resetting your router maybe.

Looking back at your pc, you know it’s probably not a browser or browser addon issue since you tried multiple browsers. I’m guessing it’s probably not another software affecting it unless someone else installed something. You could check through the installed software if you really wanted to, to see if anything stands out.

Searching online for that 400 error sometimes it’s suggested to clear the dns cache on your operating system in case part of the cache got corrupted somehow. That has something to do with the operating system caching website names or something like that. Anyways, on windows you can do this by running this command on a command prompt:

    ipconfig /flushdns

You can lookup the articles in question if you need some credibility to do that. You might get the same effect by resetting your network adapter, or maybe just resetting your pc.

Anyways, just some ideas to help narrow down where the failure is coming from.

    Edit:

Good informative link on the dns cache clearing

    pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-flush-your-dns-cache

  • R0J0hound flushing the dns cache worked. Thanks everyone for your help.
